Mia Taylor (she/her) is a theatre-maker and an early career director. Recently gaining her MFA in theatre directing, Mia is committed to advocating for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (D.E.I.A.) in all aspects of a theatrical process, both on and off stage. It is her professional goal to support, produce, and direct theatrical pieces that depict stories of the underrepresented and elicit an emotional response that inspire audiences to consider perspectives other than their own. Although Mia has an emphasis for directing, she also intends to support D.E.I.A. in other processes such as casting, producing, and community engagement and partnerships. Mia aims to foster new relationships and open welcoming conversations within audiences and emerging artists through D.E.I.A.
